I follow a couple of these groups that specialize in infographics and, by and large, they are outstanding pieces of journalism.
But I also think they are prime examples of a presentation that works better in print. Indeed, producing, printing and distributing posters such as this, directing audiences to the more expansive online elements of a multiplatform story, might be an extremely effective use for newspapers to make of their presses in generating audience for those stories. I could imagine people collecting and displaying them, like they used to do with the latest New Yorker cover.
