More than 22 million people now watch video on their mobile devices each month, according to a new study by Nielsen. That is nearly a 44 percent increase since the second quarter of 2009.

The latest “State of the Media” report also reveals that among those who watch mobile video, young adults, ages 18-24, consume the most monthly, at over four hours on average.
