The Guardian has appointed its first ever dedicated editor for mobile. Subhajit Banerjee begins his role today after joining the newspaper from the Daily Telegraph, where he helped launch the title’s iPad app as well as blogging about technology. Banerjee will be responsible for tailoring special content for mobile devices and “championing mobile practices”.
